Stonegaard Forge was founded in 2021 in McColl, South Carolina, by Craig Bowers. Recently relocated to Raleigh North Carolina in 2024. Following the ways of the Viking Traders of old, we began making forged goods and Hand Made knife styles that give you a lifetime of quality and durability. Hunting knife, Bushcraft knife, and Viking Seax styles also available.

At Stonegaard Forge, our mission is simple: to provide our customers with the best possible knives and Viking style accessories at affordable prices. We believe that everyone should have a good looking and durable heirloom quality blade at the ready, and pendants and other jewelry items that make you stand out from the store-bought crowd.

We offer a wide range of products, from Medieval and Viking inspired knives and swords, as well as more contemporary styles of Hunting, Camping, Bushcraft, and everyday carry belt knives of all sizes and grip styles. Our pendants or Battle Axes, Mjolnir (Thor's Hammer) Rune charms and other amazing original goods for yourself or a perfect gift for those collectors and Viking enthusiasts.

We take pride in the quality of our products and the level of craftsmanship that goes into each and every one of our knives. Our team of expert craftsmen use only the finest materials to create knives that are beautiful, functional, and built to last.
Craig
Craig Bowers, original founder of Stonegaard Forge has been blacksmithing and blade designing for three years professionally. Having started blade smithing in 1987 as a hobby, his passion for this ancient art came into a full-time business in 2021.
Barrie Smith
Joining the Forge in 2024, Barrie crafts hand-made Viking Weave Bracelets, as well as a variety of exceptional Celtic and Nordic inspired earrings. Keeping a fine selection and range of Stonegaard wares available to everyone.
